Scholarship Naming OpportunitiesScholarships have been critical in making housing truly affordable for those students who are most in need. While we have a general scholarship endowment fund that anyone can give to, there is also the opportunity to create a separate semesterly scholarship, either in one's own name or in honor of another. Creating a scholarship in memory of a departed loved one is a gift in recognizing that individuals life as well as to the students served by it. The general endowed scholarship fund is awarded to co-op students based primarily on financial need and secondarily on co-op involvement. New scholarship funds can have other specific award priorities and eligibility requirements based on the donor's preferences. These priorities and requirements include; academic achievement (GPA based) as a priority, eligibility for students residing in a specific house(example: must reside in Cloyne Court), eligibility for students of a minority (ex: women of color).
