Because the BSC is a democratically run organization, we hire all of our compensated central level positions through the Hiring Commission (HiCom), made up of BSC members who have recieved HiCom training.

The HiCom Chair coordinates and facilitates all hirings and conducts HiCom trainings each semester. HiCom members are compensated at the workshift rate for the time they spend in hirings. HiCom Trainings occur every semester, so be on the lookout for this opportunity to earn some extra money and to have a role in deciding who works for the co-op.
