Childish and totally awesome at heart, Kidd is a happy-go-lucky house just two blocks from North Gate. Unique co-opers from all walks of life manage to fit into the occasionally quiet, but always welcoming and everchanging culture of the BSC’s smallest house. Kidds are so special, in fact, that there are only 17 of them in production at any time. With a great backyard, pool table, piano, TV, and study room there’s always something to do, whether you want to attract a small crowd or just hang out. Other amenities include the cleanest bathrooms the BSC has ever seen, consistently above average cuisine, amazing special dinners, Thursday movie nights, easy access to other Northside co-ops, free laundry, wheelchair accessibility, solar panels on the roof for the green-hearted, and more environmentally friendly projects in the works: water recycling and a rope swing to connect the north and south wings (reduces wear on carpet and increases physical activity in members!). If you’re looking for a co-op that’s like a family (of slightly immature teenagers with no parents), come by Kidd and have dinner with us—we all fit at one table, so you’re sure to get a feel for the house.
