Job Description
The Fenwick/Rochdale Maintenance Crew provides prompt and effective response to the maintenance needs of Fenwick Weavers Village/Rochdale Village and its members. A Crew Member must be able to work both independently and in a crew atmosphere. S/he must work with Central Maintenance, the Apartment Manager, and other Crew Members to ensure the smooth running of the Maintenance Department. S/he must attend scheduled weekly meetings with other Maintenance Crew members and attend all Maintenance training workshops.
Requirements
1. Good interpersonal/communications skills.
2. 3 months experience in one or more of the following areas: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Mechanical, Locksmithing, Roofing, Painting, Tile Work, or Concrete.
Hours/Pay
This is an 8-hour/week job (at Fenwick) or a 10-hour/week job (at Rochdale) with a starting wage of $13.10/hour. This job begins in Summer & lasts indefinitely. You must be a BSC member to hold this job, although you do not need to live in Fenwick/Rochdale. This job is eligible for work-study compensation.
